Open Position: Relationship Manager Multinational Company
About the Role
The role is an individual contributor, responsible for executing sales strategies, originating and deepening client relationships, and ensuring alignment with the bank's business objectives and risk frameworks.
The role requires the individual to lead, drive growth across corporate loan, supply chain, liquidity and banking solution for corporate clients with a strong focus on multinational China clients.
As relationship manager, the individual is expected to engage directly with decision makers in the
company (e.g. director, owner and senior decision-makers) to identify and deliver value-added
corporate banking solutions.
The individual is also expected to partner with legal, compliance, analyst and Product teams to deliver integrated banking solutions tailored to client needs.
Responsibilities
- To execute the formulation, monitoring, and evaluation of marketing plans, as well as the
- marketing and promotion of lending products, deposits, and banking services for the corporate
- segment and its associated value chain.
- Initiate new client from identifying prospects and engaging with potential clients to generate
- investment business opportunities.
- Follow-up activities for new client, including background and market checks NDAs and
- information/data gathering.
- Collaboration with Credit Analysts (CA), execute initiatives, conduct analyses, and provide
- recommendations on credit/UCL types, structure, and terms as outlined in the credit package.
- Monitoring activities (off-site and on-site) of Client performance, including the processing and
- maintenance of credit documentation.
Qualifications
Education & Professional Background
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of banking experience in client-facing roles, such as Sales or Relationship Management
- Experience in Corporate Banking, handling multinational or large corporate clients
- Strong knowledge of corporate banking products, including liquidity management, corporate loans, and supply chain financing
Communication & Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in both Bahasa Indonesia and English (spoken and written)
- Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage
- Strong ability to collaborate effectively with analysts, legal, compliance, and product teams to deliver integrated client solutions
Technical & Market Knowledge
- Solid understanding of corporate client needs, business ecosystems, regulatory frameworks, and cross-border liquidity management
- Knowledge of regional and global transaction banking markets, particularly within Asia Pacific and other emerging markets
- Basic understanding of corporate loan origination and risk management
