We are looking for Regional Retail Manager to lead and transform store operations across our department store network. This is not a maintenance role it's a high-impact position for a commercial leader who thrives on driving traffic, boosting sales, and unlocking new revenue opportunities. You will take ownership of regional performance with the freedom to propose, pilot, and scale innovative retail initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Drive Regional Strategy & Growth Initiatives
Develop and execute localized strategies to increase store traffic and conversion
Identify and pilot new revenue streams (events, services, partnerships) that create commercial uplift
Bring innovation and agility to regional planning, aligning business goals with market-specific needs
Build Operational Excellence Tools
Design and implement performance dashboards and routines to track space productivity, staffing efficiency, and resource ROI
Create tools and practices that go beyond SOPs to proactively manage operational KPIs and P&L levers
Clearly articulate operational improvement plans, lead their execution, monitor outcomes, and implement corrective actions to achieve expected results
Work cross-functionally to roll out scalable improvements in how stores operate and perform
Lead Sales Performance & Store Execution
Promote an active selling culture through floor coaching, performance incentives, and conversion-focused strategies
Ensure consistent execution of commercial campaigns, pricing, service standards, and inventory flow
Monitor store KPIs (sales, traffic, UPT, ATV) and provide actionable guidance to Store Managers
Inspire, Coach & Develop Retail Teams
Lead with empathy and impact, building resilient, motivated, and commercially sharp store teams
Identify and nurture high-potential talent, promote a culture of accountability and innovation
Equip Store Managers with tools, autonomy, and support to exceed business goals
Elevate Visual Merchandising & Store Ambiance
Ensure visual merchandising aligns with brand standards and regional preferences
Monitor store presentation and drive improvements that increase product visibility and engagement
Act on customer feedback to continuously enhance the in-store shopping experience
Qualifications & Competencies
10+ years of experience in multi-store retail operations or regional/area management
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree is a plus
Strong background in commercial sales leadership and active selling techniques
Track record of proactively driving growth and launching local initiatives to boost revenue
Analytical mindset and hands-on experience building tools and KPIs to manage operational performance
Skilled in articulating, executing, and refining continuous improvement plans with measurable outcomes
Experience in visual merchandising, space planning, and store presentation strategy
Proven leadership in developing and empowering high-performing retail teams
Strong communicator, problem solver, and decision maker
Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for retail transformation
Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region
