The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who will ensure quality system complies with policy, relevant standards and regulations. He/she also responsible to review effectiveness of quality systems to guarantee quality and food safety of processes and products.
Responsibilities
- Ensure quality system complies with policy, relevant standards (ex. FSSC22000, HACCP, HALAL-CICOT, MUI-Halal, SNI, Costco) and regulations (GMP, FSMA).
- Review effectiveness of quality systems and verification and monitoring activities, monitor IQA, pest control monitoring results, chemical and microbiological testing results/validation etc. and seek continuous improvements.
- Approve supplier's quality management systems and raw material specifications to ensure they comply with implemented standards and relevant regulations.
- Handle quality troubles and customer quality complaints to solve and develop preventive measures.
- Approve quality documents (product specifications, COA etc.) upon request from relevant parties.
- Review inspection results to approve product releases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Sciences, Biotechnology, Agriculture or equivalent. Master's Degree is an added advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of QA experience in multinational company. Experience in food industries from MNCs is an advantage.
- Experience as Quality Manager at least 5 years
- Possesses management, communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to develop relationship, to interact with all level in highly diverse, multicultural environment and a team player who is capable of analytical and logical thinking.
- Proficiency in English (both written and verbal) is required. Able to speak/write in Japanese is an added advantage.
