Supervise the verification process of raw materials (RM), packaging materials (PM), and semi-finished materials (SM) to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Assign tasks and provide direction to the QC team in conducting incoming and WIP inspections.
Ensure consistent implementation of FIFO and FEFO systems.
Control material storage procedures in accordance with quality standards.
Ensure all materials and WIP are properly labeled with complete and accurate identification.
Conduct initial investigations on quality complaints or findings and determine appropriate corrective actions.
Prepare inspection reports and submit them to superiors.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Incoming QC or Line QC, preferably with team leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of raw material quality standards and FIFO/FEFO systems.
Good problem-solving skills with experience in CAPA preparation.
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, for QC reporting.
Detail-oriented, firm, and demonstrates high integrity in maintaining quality standards.
Willing to work in shifts and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
