Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web, mobile, and API banking applications.
  • Ensure compliance with functional, security, and regulatory requirements specific to the banking industry.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to identify test requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Perform regression, integration, system, UAT, and performance testing.
  • Detect, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Implement automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
  • Provide testing reports and quality metrics to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 1-5 years of experience as QA Tester in Banking/Financial Services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC processes.
  • Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, JMeter, Postman, or Cypress.
  • Experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, ALM, etc.).
  • Familiarity with API testing (REST, SOAP) and database validation using SQL.
  • Good understanding of banking workflows (payments, lending, digital channels, core banking).
  • Knowledge of security, compliance, and regulatory standards in banking (e.g., PCI DSS).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced banking environment.
