About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Assurance (QA) professional with 1.5 2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of applications through comprehensive testing processes, supporting SIT and UAT activities, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain comprehensive testing documentation, including Test Scenarios, Test Scripts, Test Cases, Test Plans, and Test Reports.
- Classify test cases into positive and negative scenarios and define priority levels (Critical, High, Medium, Low).
- Execute and manage System Integration Testing (SIT) and support business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Perform Functional Testing, Regression Testing, and Smoke Testing.
- Utilize manual testing tools such as Postman and work with REST API and JSON.
- Work with Life Insurance core systems, particularly LifeAsia (AS400).
- Execute database queries using PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, or similar databases for validation and verification purposes.
- Collaborate within Agile methodology and follow Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices.
- Use JIRA for task management and bug tracking.
- Provide clear communication and coordination with stakeholders to ensure issue resolution and quality delivery.
Minimum Requirements
- 1.5 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
- Strong knowledge of test documentation and execution processes.
- Experience handling SIT and supporting UAT activities.
- Hands-on experience in Functional, Regression, and Smoke Testing.
- Familiarity with Postman, REST API, and JSON.
- Experience working with LifeAsia (AS400) is required.
- Knowledge of database queries (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, etc.).
- Experience working in Agile environments and understanding SDLC.
- Experience using JIRA for defect tracking and task management.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications (Point Plus)
- Ability to estimate and measure level of effort during sprint planning.
- Experience in Performance Testing and Usability Testing.
