As Quality Assurance Improvement Program (QAIP) - Internal Audit ensure the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of the internal audit function through the development, implementation, and monitoring of the Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (QAIP) in accordance with audit standards (Global Internal Audit Standard) and applicable banking regulations. In addition, also responsible as a liaison officer with external auditors and regulators, as well as monitoring follow-up on audit findings to improve the Bank&aposs governance, risk management and internal control.
About the role:
- Design, develop, and implement the QAIP program in accordance with audit standards (Global Internal Audit Standard).
- Conduct internal assessments both on-going reviews and periodic assessments of the effectiveness of internal audit activities, including the quality of audit planning, implementation, reporting and monitoring.
- Monitoring and reporting on follow-up of internal and external audit findings and regulators.
- Work closely with the client (audittee) and internal auditors to ensure completion of corrective actions within the stipulated time.
- Act as the main liaison between the Bank and external auditors and regulators in the context of examinations.
- Compile, manage and coordinate data and supporting documents for external audits and regulatory examinations.
- Evaluate the implementation of audit standards (Global Internal Audit Standard).
- Provide recommendations for improvement of audit methodology in accordance with audit standards, banking regulations and best practices.
- Prepare periodic QAIP Reports to the Head of Internal Audit and Audit Committee.
- Propose audit quality improvement initiatives based on evaluation results and audit standards and best practices.
About you:
- At least S1 from Accounting, Management, Law, or Information Technology.
- Preferably have professional certifications such as Certified Internal Audit (CIA), Qualified Internal Audit (QIA), Indonesia Internal Audit Practitioner (IIAP).
- Deep understanding of audit standards (Global Internal Audit Standard).
- Understanding of banking regulations (OJK, BI, LPS).
- Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills.
- Proactive, communicative and able to work together across departments and divisions.
- Proficient in using Audit Management System (e.g. Teammate, JIRA or similar)
- At least 3-5 years of working experience in internal audit, external audit (advisory) or QAIP function, especially in the banking sector.
- Experience in dealing with regulatory audits and Public Accounting Firms.
