Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality of our software products. You will work closely with developers, QA team members, and product managers to understand requirements, identify test cases, and implement automation strategies. The role involves ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability before they reach our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.

- Collaborate with the Development and QA teams to understand the product architecture and create effective test plans.

- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify defects and areas for improvement.

- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.

- Continuously enhance and optimize test automation frameworks and processes.

- Report and track defects, providing detailed analysis and documentation.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall quality of the product.

Requirements

- Minimum 4 years work experience

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role.

- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.

- Experience with test automation tools like Katalon, Appium, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.

- Understanding of software testing principles and methodologies especially on mobile and web applications

- Experience with API testing and tools like Postman or REST Assured.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills and able to work under tight timeline

- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Parallel run testing on multiple devices is a plus
