Python Developer

Company Overview:

Our client is a fast-growing Australian cloud and AI solutions company, partnering with global clients to deliver secure, scalable, and production-ready systems. As they expand their presence in Asia, they are seeking a Senior Python Engineer based in Indonesia to join their engineering team.

You will work on greenfield, production-grade AI products, including real-time AI agents for financial applications, collaborating closely with Solution Architects and experienced engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable Python systems from the ground up
• Develop and integrate REST and WebSocket APIs
• Build and maintain async and real-time systems
• Collaborate on system design with a focus on performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
• Mentor and support junior to mid-level engineers

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Python development experience
• Strong experience with async/concurrent systems (e.g. asyncio, real-time streaming)
• Experience deploying systems on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Solid system design mindset and strong written English communication
• Experience integrating LLMs (e.g. OpenAI or Anthropic APIs)

Nice to Have

• Experience with real-time or voice infrastructure platforms
• Background in financial services or regulated industries
• Open-source contributions or relevant project portfolio
