Purchasing Specialist

Responsibilities:

Conducting product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors.

Sourcing materials, goods, products, and service and negotiating the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals.

Estimate and establish cost parameters and budget for purchases.

Process orders using a purchasing system.

Performing inventory inspections and reordering supplies and stock as necessary.

Updating and maintaining records of all orders, payments, and received stock.

Qualifications:

At least 1 year experience in textile or garment

Proven working experience as a purchasing staff

Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practice (researching, evaluating, and liaising with vendors).

Understanding of supply chain procedures.

Proficient in MS Office Excel and purchasing system

excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills
