This role is responsible for ensuring that all production and vendor-related processes run efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and meet the company's quality standards for custom interior projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Planning & Control
- Develop and manage production schedules based on project timelines
- Prioritize production activities according to project deadlines
- Coordinate closely with internal workshops and external vendors
- Track production progress (daily/weekly) and ensure timely delivery
- Identify risks of delays and implement preventive solutions
2. Vendor Management
- Conduct vendor performance evaluations (cost, quality, lead time, reliability)
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and production capacity
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key vendors
- Maintain and update vendor database and performance records
- Ensure vendors comply with company quality standards and specifications
3. Quality Control
- Establish and implement quality standards for all custom products
- Perform quality inspections (pre-production, in-progress, and final stages)
- Develop QC checklists
- Handle quality issues and complaints from project sites
- Coordinate rework or corrections with vendors
- Ensure final outputs align with design drawings and specifications
Requirements
Must Have
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in: Interior design / custom furniture / interior contracting, Production planning, vendor management, or quality control
- Strong understanding of: Interior materials, Custom furniture production processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical/shop drawings
- Strong skills in: Planning & organization, Negotiation, Problem-solving
