The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for a Project Manager to join us in Indonesia. In this role, you will manage the development and implementation process for our solutions and services using standard project management processes. You'll need to have excellent communication and organizational skills, as you'll be coordinating projects across teams while ensuring that they are successfully completed and align with schedules, budgets, and delivery plans. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and play a key part in the successful implementation of Red Hat's solutions.
What You Will Do
- Understand and interpret technical requirements and turn them into successful projects
- Guide project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities for Red Hat
- Potentially manage multiple Red Hat projects and work streams within a larger customer program
- Manage project requirements, scope, and change management issues
- Determine, monitor, and review all projects economics, including costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, resources, and risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and management on project proposals, bids, contracts, estimates, and schedules; contribute to the project estimation process
- Develop project control and reporting procedures; manage changes in the operational plan
- Ensure adherence to legally binding requirements
- Build a relationship of trust with customers by delivering on requirements
- Manage customer expectations in terms of scope, delivery timelines, issues and risks
- Provide the right level of communication to internal and external stakeholders to ensure overall alignment and support on the projects.
- Identify risks, technical limitations, and recommend solutions
- Understand and apply industry practices, company policies, and standard procedures
- Interact with senior-level internal and external stakeholders
- Manage and coordinate the complete bandwidth of project time frames, from small to complex projects
- Support and manage the creation of request for information (RFI) and request for proposals (RFP)
- Cooperate with and contribute to our Global Project Management Office (PMO)
What You Will Bring
- Extensive experience as a vendor project manager in IT environments
- 10+ years of experience in a project management role managing IT-based projects
- Experience establishing and contributing to process improvements
- Combination of business and technical background
- Experience dealing with complex projects and multicultural or multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel on a regular basis
- Project Management Institute (PMI), Master in Project Management (MSPM) level, or similar certification
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) foundation-level and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certifications are a plus
- Open source background with Red Hat Application Services or Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) experience is a plus
