Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

Operations Manager cum Program Head is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing diverse sports, fitness, and wellness programs to enhance member engagement and satisfaction. This role involves planning and executing structured fitness activities, competitions, and community outreach programs while maintaining high standards of safety and service quality. It will also be responsible to work with the Sales team to grow membership base in accordance with Budget.

Additionally, Operations Manager cum Program Head will work under the guidance of the General Manager to develop strategic plans for marketing, budgeting, forecasting, and overall program expansion. The role also involves pre-opening and launches planning, requiring coordination with ARYADUTA Head Office Vice President of Operations and other Group Directors whenever required in order to ensure a successful rollout of the club's programs and services.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :

Program Development & Implementation

  • Design and implement a variety of sports, fitness, and training programs catering to different age groups and skill levels, including but not limited to:
  • Fitness Training Routines
  • Zumba, Pilates, and Yoga Classes
  • Jogging and Running Clubs
  • Kickboxing and Martial Arts Training
  • Strength and Conditioning Programs
  • Wellness & Rehabilitation Sessions
  • Other Seasonal and Thematic Bootcamps
  • Continuously evaluate and refine programs based on member feedback and performance metrics.
  • Ensure all activities align with the club's mission, vision, and business objectives.

Member Engagement & Promotion

  • Actively promote programs to members and the local community to increase participation.
  • Develop creative engagement strategies, including themed fitness challenges, personal training packages, and social wellness events.
  • Organize competitions, tournaments, and special events to boost club visibility and attract new members.
  • Work under the guidance of the General Manager to develop and implement a structured Marketing Plan, ensuring effective communication and branding.

Operations & Facility Management

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and equipment functionality in all club facilities.
  • Ensure all programs comply with health and safety regulations, training standards, and emergency response protocols.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and housekeeping teams to ensure seamless facility operations.
  • Work with the General Manager to optimize the club's operational workflows and scheduling for maximum efficiency.

Budgeting & Resource Management

  • Assist in developing and managing the club's overall program budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources under the guidance of the General Manager.
  • Monitor expenditures, track financial performance, and propose cost-effective solutions while ensuring program quality.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to prepare financial forecasts and strategic growth plans.

Talent Acquisition & Team Management

  • Work with General Manager to Recruit, train, and manage a team of coaches, trainers, and instructors for various fitness and wellness programs.
  • Provide leadership and support, ensuring that staff deliver high-quality service and maintain a strong focus on member engagement.
  • Engage Personal Trainers in program development, ensuring they have structured class schedules, performance goals, and clear guidelines.
  • Work under the General Manager's guidance to create structured career growth opportunities for staff.

Competitions & Tournaments Planning

  • Work with General Manager to Plan, organize, and execute fitness competitions, sports tournaments, and inter-club events to foster engagement and competition.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders (sports associations, corporate teams, and sponsors) to create high-profile tournaments.

Community Outreach & Partnerships

  • Build strong relationships with local schools, sports teams, corporate organizations, and wellness groups.
  • Develop collaborative programs with community partners to promote fitness awareness and healthy lifestyles.
  • Plan and execute charity events, wellness fairs, and outreach programs to strengthen the club's presence in the local community.

Pre-Opening & Launch Planning

  • Work under the guidance of the General Manager and liaise with ARYADUTA Head Office Operations to develop the club's pre-opening roadmap.
  • Assist in setting up initial programming, staffing, and membership promotions for the club's launch.
  • Ensure seamless coordination with all operational teams to create a strong brand presence from day one.
  • Ensure that Testing and commissioning of all new facilities are completed and recorded for handover on completion with agreed standards.
  • Liaise with General Manager and AHO IT to ensure ACC IT Management system is installed in a timely manner, all testing and commissioning as well as training is completed in a timely manner

Others:

  • Achieve the monthly and annual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) assigned, which will be outlined separately. KPIs may include, but are not limited to, targets related to productivity, quality, efficiency, compliance, and contributions to team or departmental objectives.
  • Accept temporary or permanent transfers to another section, department, or Aryaduta property, as required by business needs and performance considerations.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior, which are relevant to the role and support departmental or organizational objectives.

DNA:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Hospitality Management, Sports/Academy Management, Education, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 710 years of experience in operations and/or program leadership within a premium country club, academy, luxury hospitality, or lifestyle environment.
  • Strong background in operations management, SOP implementation, financial analysis, and strategic planning.
  • Proven ability to design, manage, and innovate programs (sports, education, wellness, or recreation) that drive engagement and satisfaction.
  • Excellent people management, decision-making, and communication skills, with the ability to inspire teams and engage premium-level stakeholders.
