Production Support Specialist
- Responsible for supporting the management and operation of supporting facilities for Data Center, Disaster Recovery Center (DRC), Development Systems, and IT Central (SS3) to ensure the availability and reliability of production systems and applications.
- Ensure that all production systems and banking applications operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to support continuous business operations within the bank.
- Responsible for the creation, maintenance, and modification of runsheets for batch processing in accordance with established schedules to ensure smooth operational and business processes.
- Manage and perform configuration and definition of third-party products and tools (such as CA products, Autosys, Control-M, Veritas, and similar solutions) to support the execution of production system processes accurately and effectively, including Disaster Recovery (DR) systems.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 35 years of experience in Production Support, IT Operations, or Data Center Operations, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
- Experience in batch job scheduling and automation tools such as Autosys, Control-M, or similar solutions.
- Experience working with Z/OS (for mainframe)
- Experience working with Unix/Linux environments and enterprise systems is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of production environment management and system operations.
- Experience in system monitoring, batch processing, and operational runsheet management.
- Knowledge of third-party enterprise tools such as CA products, Autosys, Control-M, Veritas, or similar enterprise platforms.
- Ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment, including shift arrangements if required.
