Job Description

Responsibilities

Product Owners are responsible for ensuring the product meets the needs of the users and the business, managing and optimizing the product backlog in order to maximize the value of the product. We are looking for a leader who embodies honesty in communication, empathy for user pain points, and the agility to pivot when business needs evolve. You will lead product management to identify issues, define roadmaps, manage deadlines, and collaborate transparently with stakeholders.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

  • Translate roadmaps and user stories into actionable tasks by empathizing with user needs and collaborating closely with Product Design, Software Engineering, and Quality Assurance teams.
  • Own and manage the product backlog with agility, ensuring priorities stay aligned with the roadmap and shifting business goals.
  • Assist in end-to-end feature execution, providing honest and clear documentation for requirements, grooming, UAT coordination, and release validation.
  • Conduct regular product research and evaluation, gathering deep user insights to propose meaningful product improvements to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate internal and client meetings to capture issues honestly, document discussions accurately, and follow up on agreed actions with urgency.
  • Support integration activities and cross-team coordination with an adaptable and collaborative mindset.

Requirements

  • At least 2+ years of work experience as a Product Owner in ERP, Business Analyst, or a similar software development role.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Basic understanding of business workflows (accounting, inventory, procurement, etc.)the ability to empathize with the operational hurdles users face is a plus.
  • Strong capability in writing technical or business specifications (PRD, BRD, user stories) that are clear, honest, and actionable.
  • Strong analytical thinking and priority management to navigate complex trade-offs with agility.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, built on a foundation of honesty and collaborative communication.
  • A strong sense of ownership and professional accountability.
  • High emotional intelligence and empathy when dealing with operational pressure and diverse team dynamics.
  • Experience using backlog and delivery management tools (e.g., Jira or similar).
  • Familiarity with agile methodology and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
  • Experience with Analytical tools (Google Analytics) or familiarity with API integration concepts is a plus.
