Job Description
- Analyze and evaluate business requirements related to EDC/Payment systems and convert them into clear, actionable system specifications.
- Gather, document, and maintain business processes, data flows, and system integration needs.
- Contribute to roadmap definition along with all stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, QA, and Operations, Sales) and also customer to deliver solutions that align with business goals.
- Work on enhancements, new features, and system integrations.
- Conduct gap analysis between existing systems and new requirements.
- Assist in testing (functional, regression, integration), ensuring that solutions meet both functional and technical specifications.
- Provide technical documentation including flow diagrams, data mapping, and API specifications, ISO8583.
- Participate in UAT and provide post-deployment support to resolve production issues and collect feedback for future improvements.
Requirement
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in POS, EDC/Payment systems, or related industries, with strong exposure to transaction-based platforms.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and system design principles, with the ability to bridge business and technical perspectives.
- Solid knowledge of API integrations (REST/JSON), ISO8583 messaging, databases (SQL), and basic data modeling concepts.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail in evaluating business and system requirements.
- Strong customer centric mindset and data-driven.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate across teams.
- Hands-on experience or prior background in software engineering is a strong advantage.
- Proficient in using product and project management tools such as Jira, Figma, Postman or similar platforms
