QUALIFICATION
- Minimum bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Technical or Electrical engineering - master's
- degree will be an advantageous but not compulsory.
- Exposure in Commercial Vehicle Industry is required.
- Minimum 5 years experience in similar area with Commercial Vehicle industry.
- Good leadership skills and good interpersonal attitude & be able to be flexible and work as part of a team.
- Confident presentation skills and good communication skills on order to have a constant interaction with other colleagues/department/stakeholders/Others Brand and vendors.
- Self-motivated, driven, and willing to go extra miles in pursuit of excellence.
- Ability to handle pressure and make split-second decisions.
- Enthusiasm for effectives in keeping the teamwork/vendors motivated to produce the best result.
- Familiarity with vehicle engineering principles and an ability to communicate effectively with engineers and designers.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret vehicles market data, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, present ideas to stakeholders, and engage with customers and authorities (in conjunction for homologation process).
- Ability to think strategically and develop long-term product roadmaps that align with company's objectives.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges that arise during the product development process.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies to effectively manage timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Customer-centric mindset to ensure that products meet customer needs and deliver a positive user experience.
- Proficient in: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoints, Microsoft Outlook; additional preference: xlstat/SPSS (Market Research supporting).
- Fluent in both spoken and written English.
- Basic knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, SMK3 and Eco Industry
JOB DESCRIPTION
Leadership
- Team Management and People Development related tasks as head of function (including coaching and advising).
- Structuring plan and target achievement fulfillment with the team (periodical tasks, projects, budget and company's goal).
- Active participation in association in relation to automotive industry within the acknowledgement of superior and management.
Market Research
- Conducting and validating market research to understand customer needs, competitor offerings, and industry trends to inform product development.
- Validate monthly market insights of truck and bus market to stakeholders.
Product Strategy
- Developing and executing the product strategy for new and existing vehicles in line with the company's goals and market trends.
- Prioritizing features and functionalities based on customer feedback, market demands, and technical feasibility.
- Regular observation and validation of market competition for truck and bus all segments including market's application.
- Structuring plan and target completion for new product specification of truck and bus with HQ and manufacturers.
- Continuous information and support of market data information in terms of product information and market regulation to HQ.
Homologation
- Validate the needs of homologation and type of test of the new products strategically; ensure accomplishment of homologation vehicle process including TPT import and NJKB registration.
Others
- Ensure proper truck and bus product development coordination with R&D and engineering.
- Validate truck and bus technical problem-solving collaboration with CSP department.
- Ensure proper support for Marketing Department in product information validation of sales and promotional tools.
- Ensure proper support of Marketing Department in marketing events specifically in preparation of show units, product highlights and product explanation at the event.
- Ensure proper support each product's sales departments in product presentation to large fleet customers
