Role Mission
The Product Lead is responsible for driving Best-at-Retail execution by overseeing all inventory workstreams and ensuring the sales floor is consistently replenished. You will be the backbone of the store's efficiency, directly impacting the Customer Service Level (CSL) by maintaining high product availability and organized stockroom standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory Excellence & Flow
- Lead the end-to-end processing of all shipments, ensuring merchandise is floor-ready (sensored, steamed, and hung) quickly.
- Execute daily replenishment (Pull & Fill) to ensure the sales floor reflects full availability of sizes and styles.
- Manage the Back of House (BOH) organization, ensuring the stockroom is clean, safe, and logically mapped for fast retrieval.
2. Customer Service Level (CSL) Maintenance
- Partner with the Sales Lead to ensure that stock levels support peak traffic times, minimizing out of stock scenarios for customers.
- Monitor sell-through reports and coordinate with the leadership team to prioritize high-demand products.
- Support the floor team during high-traffic periods by being the product expert who can locate items instantly.
3. Operational Integrity & Loss Prevention
- Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain 100% accuracy in the Management Information System (MIS).
- Oversee the Return-to-Vendor (RTV) and Damages processes according to brand standards.
- Identify potential shrink risks and implement strategies to minimize inventory loss.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in retail operations, inventory management, or a similar supervisory role (experience in fast-fashion or premium lingerie is a plus).
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret inventory data and stock reports to make informed decisions.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to handle physical workloads, including lifting boxes and standing for long durations.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using handheld scanners (RF guns), POS systems, and inventory management software.
- Soft Skills: Meticulous attention to detail (organized by nature).
- Proactive problem-solving skills, always thinking one step ahead of stock needs.
- Strong communication skills to bridge the gap between the backroom and the sales floor.
- Education: Minimum Diploma (D3) or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
