PT Arnott's Indonesia is a multinational company with brand Good Time and Nyam Nyam. We are looking for a Product Development Technologist to hands on delivery of all product development for Snacking International projects. This is a 12 - months contract role, based in Bekasi.
Responsibilities:
Deliver Snacking International Projects
- Delivers Snacking International projects to agreed standards, costs and time frames in accordance with agreed change management processes.
- Coordinates all relevant trials.
- Contributes required technical information to generate compliance specifications.
- Ensures all projects are fully and accurately documented.
- Supports project implementation by providing assistance with trouble shooting during handover period.
- Develop ideas re. product concept, process, and machine
Deliver the Improvement of Product's Quality and Production Process
- Develop technical assistance, alternative solutions for improvement and ensure the implementation and follow up with evaluation and comply with food safety regulation
- Maintain an awareness of food trends, innovative ingredients and technologies to facilitate the development of Snacking International and / or improved products (ingredients) and/or processes
Actively collaborate with supplier for knowledge sharing and training on seminar to ensure qualification is accelerated as per competency requirement
Understands food standards and related regulations to ensure that new and reformulated products comply with requirements and meet food safety standards
Ingredients you will need to be successful in this role:
- Bachelor Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering
- Minimum 3–5-year experiences in the field of R&D at FMCG (biscuits, confectionary, etc)
- Experience in developing new products
- Understanding of ingredient functionality and familiar with product manufacturing process.
- Business savvy and ability to work under diverse and simultaneous demands at FMCG environment,
- English excellent in oral and written communication skills,
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to persuade and influence others
- Presentation skills preferable
