Product Development Lead

Job Description

• Lead end-to-end product development for the MPASI (Baby & Toddler Food) category, from concept ideation to commercialization.
• Develop nutritious, safe, and innovative MPASI products in line with BPOM regulations and food safety standards.
• Conduct market research, consumer insights, and competitor analysis to identify new product opportunities and improvements.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Production teams to ensure smooth product launches.
• Define product formulation, nutritional targets, ingredient selection, and shelf-life requirements.
• Manage product testing, sensory evaluation, and continuous product optimization based on feedback and performance data.
• Ensure all products comply with regulatory, halal, and labeling requirements.
• Monitor product performance post-launch and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Nutrition, Food Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 35 years of experience in product development, preferably in baby food, FMCG, or food manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of MPASI standards, infant nutrition, and food safety regulations (BPOM, HACCP, GMP).
• Proven leadership experience and ability to manage cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills with a consumer- and data-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Passion for developing high-quality, nutritious products for infants and toddlers.
• Experience with halal certification and regulatory submissions is a plus.
