We are looking for a creative and technical Bag Designer to join the Fuguku team. You will be responsible for designing the next generation of our iconic Krupuk bags, from initial concept and 3D prototyping to final production. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of fabric manipulation, structural integrity, and contemporary streetwear/lifestyle trends.

Employment Type: Full-time

• Concept Development: Create innovative bag silhouettes that utilize Fuguku's signature pleated/shrunken textures.
• Technical Drawing: Produce detailed Tech Packs (2D/3D) including measurements, material specifications, and hardware details.
• Prototyping: Experiment with fabric manipulation and manual mock-ups to test how shrunken fabrics behave in different shapes.
• Material Sourcing: Research and select sustainable materials that align with Fuguku's brand identity.
• Production Liaison: Work closely with the sampling team and production house to ensure the final product meets quality and design standards.
• Trend Analysis: Stay ahead of global accessory trends while maintaining Fuguku's unique DNA.
  

• Education: Degree in Product Design, or Accessory Design.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in handbag or accessory design.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop
• Textile Knowledge: Strong understanding of synthetic fabrics, heat-setting, or fabric manipulation techniques.
• Creative Mindset: Ability to think outside standard bag construction to create avant-garde yet functional shapes.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing the design process from sketch to finished product is mandatory.
