Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end procurement activities for both internal requirements and project-based needs, with primary focus on O&M services and MEP packages (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, firefighting systems, BMS, etc.).
- Manage the full sourcing lifecycle, including RFQ/RFP preparation, vendor evaluation, commercial negotiation, and contract finalization for critical and high-value packages.
- Drive strong commercial negotiations to achieve cost optimization while ensuring full technical compliance and adherence to project timelines.
- Collaborate closely with Project, Business, and Operations teams to align on technical scope, specifications, and execution requirements.
- Conduct market intelligence and vendor benchmarking to validate pricing, assess competitiveness, and support strategic sourcing decisions.
- Oversee vendor performance throughout both tender and post-award phases, including technical/commercial clarifications, negotiation closure, and smooth handover to project or operations teams.
- Ensure full compliance with internal governance, procurement policies, audit requirements, and documentation standards.
Qualifications
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal, is a must
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably Mechanical or Electrical), Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of procurement experience, with exposure to construction and/or project-based procurement environments.
- Proven track record in managing complex sourcing processes and high-value contracts, including commercial evaluation, bid analysis, and contract negotiation.
- Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen, with demonstrated ability to manage challenging vendor discussions and deliver optimal commercial outcomes.
- Basic to intermediate understanding of MEP systems (electrical, HVAC, cooling systems, firefighting, etc.) within data center or similar industrial environments is highly preferred.
- Experience operating in a fast-paced, project-driven environment, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and tight timelines effectively.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across project teams, operations, and external vendors.
- High level of initiative, ownership, and proactiveness, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
