Procurement Services Specialist (Gold Mining)

Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate potential service providers in line with company policies and regulatory standards
• Request quotations, prepare bidding summaries, issue purchase orders, and handle expediting activities for service-related requirements
• Coordinate with user departments to ensure scope of work (SoW) is clearly defined and aligned with operational needs
• Monitor and follow up on procurement progress and delivery timelines
• Work closely with logistics and site SCM teams to resolve outstanding requisitions and ensure timely support for project activities
• Prepare and maintain procurement and expediting reports for internal tracking and audit readiness
• Conduct commercial evaluations and prepare procurement recommendations for management approval

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (preferably in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar procurement role, with exposure to services procurement in mining, construction, or related industries
• Strong communication skills, fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and negotiation skills
• Independent, proactive, and able to manage multiple service procurement cycles with minimal supervision
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement-related systems
• Willing to work in a dynamic team with strong interdepartmental coordination
• Good understanding of service provider evaluation and SoW preparation
• Experience in tendering processes, commercial evaluations, and preparation of bid summaries (bidsum) for management approval
