Manage the control environment of the risk and advance buy process
Perform risk assessments on potential new and existing contracts and agreements
Perform all procurement and contracting activities including pre-qualification, tender management, negotiation and preparation of contracts.
Implement procurement strategies to maintain security of supply and optimum value for money.
Set policy and guidelines for delivering commercial and cost-effective procuring process for the business.
Provide periodic reporting for management on purchasing, controls and processes.
Ensure a close operation with internal customers to ensure customer care and early involvement
Contract management: work closely with Legal & Compliance team ensure all contracts been reviewed and properly signed.
Conduct supplier management processes: qualification, selection, evaluation, development and classification, update supplier evaluation systems to obtain and develop the best suppliers and ensure transparency and high procurement quality
Prepare and conduct negotiations to obtain highest feasible savings
Evaluate new / existing suppliers and update Approved Vendor List.
Job Requirements
A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field is preferred
Proven experience in Procurement for 4-6 years
Strong knowledge of Procurement business processes and experienced using supply chain management software and tools
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
Fluency in English (written and verbal)
Ability to work independently and play a hands-on role in a dynamic, challenging and fast-paced environment or complex matrix organization
Strong analytical, interpersonal and relationship building skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills coupled with excellent presentation skills
Highly motivated and driven, with good integrity and a strong sense of accountability and focused on delivering results
