Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Procurement Manager to join our growing team and lead procurement activities across our fuel station and retail business.
The candidate will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies, managing suppliers, optimizing costs, and ensuring the timely availability of goods and services required to support our operational and retail activities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and operational requirements.
- Lead the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, vendor selection, negotiation, purchasing, and contract management.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers to ensure quality, competitive pricing, and continuity of supply.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and service-level agreements with suppliers.
- Manage procurement for fuel station operations, retail products, equipment, maintenance, facilities, construction, and other operational requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, product quality, and compliance with agreed terms.
- Drive cost optimization and identify opportunities for savings without compromising quality and service levels.
- Establish and maintain effective procurement policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Finance, Retail, Engineering, Maintenance, and other departments to understand business requirements.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, applicable regulations, and ethical standards.
- Analyze procurement spending, supplier performance, and market trends to support management decision-making.
- Lead and develop the procurement team to achieve operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Manage procurement risks, including supply disruptions, supplier dependency, price fluctuations, and quality issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in procurement, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or supervisory position.
- Experience in retail, fuel station, FMCG, hospitality, manufacturing, or multi-site operations is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiation, and procurement processes.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple procurement categories and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Familiarity with ERP/procurement systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong understanding of cost analysis, budgeting, and procurement performance metrics.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Willing to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and multi-site operational environment.
