About the job

Our client, a leading developer and operator of AI and hyperscale data centres, is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead data centre procurement operations. This is a full-time role focused on managing CAPEX procurement for complex MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) equipment sourcing and supplier relationships within a fast-paced data centre environment. The successful candidate will bring deep procurement expertise, strong commercial negotiation skills, and support stakeholder engagement across the organisation.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on procurement experience specifically in the data centre industry, with demonstrated expertise in MEP equipment and CAPEX purchases.
  • Strong commercial acumen and proven negotiation skills with the ability to secure favourable terms and manage supplier relationships.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with strong compliance and documentation practices in a regulated procurement environment.
  • Strong analytical and data management skills, with the ability to perform spend analysis, supplier performance evaluation, cost benchmarking, and procurement reporting to support strategic sourcing and CAPEX investment decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5 to 8 years total procurement experience within data centres, telecommunications, EPC, or other related infrastructure industries.
  • Professional procurement certification or equivalent demonstrated expertise in complex equipment sourcing and supplier management.
  • Experience leveraging procurement data, market intelligence, and cost analytics to drive sourcing strategies, cost optimization, and supplier performance improvements.
