Position description:
To execute procurement activities related to materials, equipment, and services for projects in alignment with technical specifications, timelines, and cost efficiency. This role ensures that all procurement processes meet internal quality standards, project needs, and compliance with applicable regulations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Source and evaluate suppliers based on technical compliance, commercial terms, and delivery capabilities.
- Prepare and issue Request for Quotation (RFQ), analyze vendor offers, and participate in technical and commercial evaluations.
- Support the contract award process and ensure timely issuance of Purchase Orders (PO).
- Collaborate with expediting, logistics, QA/QC, and project controls teams to ensure seamless procurement execution.
- Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with procedures and audit requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes and systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) major
- Additional certification in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Contract Management is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering procurement in EPC, oil & gas, energy, or construction industry.
- Experience in handling technical requisitions and supplier evaluations.
- Experience in subcontracting / service procurement engineer.
- Proficient in procurement tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple procurement packages under tight deadlines.
