Procurement Engineer

We're Hiring a Procurement Engineer!

We're looking for a highly motivated Procurement Engineer to manage end-to-end procurement activities from requisition to payment ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant sourcing of goods and services. This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support operational needs while upholding governance, integrity, and efficiency in all procurement processes.

Work Location: Head Office, South Jakarta

Reporting Line: This position reports directly to the Procurement Lead

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Procurement within Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, or Petrochemical Industries
• Strong working knowledge of P2P procurement processes
• Good understanding of engineering spares and industrial service procurement
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
• High integrity, accountability, and customer-oriented mindset
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP systems (preferred)
  
  

Job Responsibilities

• Execute daily procurement activities in line with the P2P process.
• Handle purchase of engineering spares, maintenance materials, and technical services with cost awareness and accuracy.
• Prepare and issue RFQs, analyze bids, and coordinate vendor selection as per company policy.
• Negotiate with vendors to achieve competitive pricing, quality, and delivery schedules.
• Ensure KPI/SLA targets for procurement responsiveness and delivery are consistently met.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Finance, and Warehouse teams.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and audit-ready documentation in SAP S/4HANA.
• Support internal and external procurement audits and ensure compliance with policies.
• Promote and implement SMK3 (OHS Management System) and SML (Environmental Management System) in daily work practices.
