Job Description
General Purpose
UCAM is looking for planning engineers to assist engineering teams in completing projects on time. They devise strategies, calculate material and labour costs, evaluate crew performance, oversee compliance with health and safety laws, and maintain open lines of communication. When necessary, planning engineers also analyse data, produce reports, and offer presentations.
Main/ Essential Task
- Planning, control and forecasting the trouble shooting points of production
- Responsible for efficient operations and maximum savings
- Implementing quality control systems
- Formulating and implementation of annual strategies in lead time reduction
- Cater to customer needs by developing new products
- Involving in Continuous Improvement Plant
- Preparation of monthly material schedule, purchase schedule & production schedule
- Maintaining the vendor delivery performance
- Coordinating with Design & PED teams on the cost effective raw material till implementation stage.
