The Opportunity
Due to ongoing growth, we are looking for a Piping Engineer (Piping Stress) to join our Industrial team in Jakarta, Indonesia. This is a 12-month fixed-term role with the opportunity to be extended.
In This Role, You Will
- Apply your experience in piping design and understanding of piping materials
- Perform pipe stress analysis and provide mechanical system design solutions
- Troubleshoot piping issues and contribute to project delivery across various industrial sectors
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Materials, or Mechanical Engineering
- 510 years of experience in a similar role, preferably as a piping stress engineer in an engineering consultancy
- Experience in piping design and stress analysis
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards such as ASME, ASTM, API, NFPA, DIN
- Strong hands-on experience with stress analysis software such as AutoPIPE or Caesar II
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to write technical reports and communicate with fluent English-speaking teams
- A positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and willingness to learn new processes and applications
- Experience in FMCG, water, and/or mining & metals industries
- Jakarta-based with the possibility of site visits
