Job Description Summary:

  • Manage SMART's pension funds by making investment decisions to increase the value of the pension fund.

Job Description:

Support GAR's Portfolio Management:

  • Active participation and assistance to evaluate and implement various Corporate Finance programs relating to fund raising, investor relations, acquisitions, cash management, and hedging.

  • Analysis of various market trends and opportunities in valuation and trading of equity, bonds, and other financial products, and recommendation on potential use by Company.

  • Establish, maintain and monitor financial instrument portfolio and recommend any changes in the portfolio as and when deemed necessary.

  • Regularly meet with investment analysts to discuss market trends and various opportunities which can be taken by Company.

  • Assist CFO in evaluation and analysis of various instrument / strategies to increase profitability / cash flow

  • Active role in the Investment Committee by assisting the Investment Committee to evaluate projects / proposals and ensuring proposed projects meet company's strategic and financial criteria.

Job Requirement:

  • Have a degree in Finance/Accounting, Business Administration, or an MBA.

  • Have 8-10 years prior experience in a similar role within the same industry or Corporate Finance experience in a top-tier consulting firm or investment bank/PE funds.

  • Strong business accumen.

  • Strong analytical skill.
