Responsibilities

1. Enhance local market payment infrastructure

- Collaborate with local BD teams and partners (banks, wallets, card acquirers) to expand and optimize payment products.

- Lead pilot projects for new payment capabilities aligned with local trends and regulations (e.g., QRISBI-FAST, SNAP, ASPI).

- Own end-to-end delivery: PRD drafting, tech integration, merchant piloting, iteration, and scaled rollout.

2. Build merchant payment service capabilities

- Design acquiring and payout systems for local merchants, covering onboarding, integration, settlement, and reconciliation.

- Work closely with compliance and internal teams to meet local regulatory requirements and minimize risks.

- Optimize self-service and standardization to improve merchant stickiness and user experience.

3. Market research & product insights

- Conduct in-depth research on the Indonesian payments ecosystem, identifying new trends and translating them into product opportunities.

- Explore new industry verticals (e.g., offline retail, trade) and design end-to-end online-to-offline payment solutions.

4. Cross-functional collaboration

- Work closely with Operations, Merchant Ops, Compliance, and Risk teams to ensure smooth project execution.

- Act as a bridge in pilot projects, aligning resources for efficient delivery.

5. Data-driven optimization.

- Establish and monitor payment KPIs (TPV, success rate, coverage, cost)

- Use data to drive routing optimization, SLA building, and product iteration.

Requirements

- 4-6 years of product experience in payments/fintech, with background inwallets, acquiring, or banking payment systems.

- Strong familiarity with Indonesian payment infrastructure: QRIS, BI-FAST, RTOL, SKN, RTGS.

- Experience in merchant acquiring (online + offline) with the ability to independently drive merchant onboarding and integration.

- Strong data analysis skills, capable of translating metrics into product decisions.

- Understanding of the Indonesian regulatory landscape (Bank Indonesia, OJK, SNAP, ASPI).

- Fluent in English; Mandarin is a plus.

- Industry exposure in e-commerce, digital entertainment, or retail with ability to design multi-scenario payment solutions.

Nice-to-Have

- Hands-on experience with local wallets (Dana, OVO, ShopeePay, GoPay)

- POS /offline acquiring experience,

- Previous experience leading pilot projects /international market expansion, familiar with 0-1 product lifecycle.
