Packaging Engineer – Indonesia

We're looking for an experienced Packaging Engineer to join our team in Cimanggis, Indonesia. You will be Supporting packaging development, product launches, product transfers, and lifecycle management across international markets.

This role offers an opportunity to work on complex packaging projects from concept through commercialization while collaborating with cross-functional teams including R&D, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead packaging development activities for new product launches, product transfers, and business continuity projects. (Across both Flexible and Rigid packaging)
• Design, evaluate, and implement packaging solutions that meet performance, quality, regulatory, and sustainability requirements.
• Drive packaging optimization initiatives focused on operational efficiency, cost reduction, and continuous improvement.
• Support manufacturing sites and external partners with packaging implementation, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
• Evaluate new packaging materials, technologies, and equipment to enhance packaging performance and drive innovation.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful execution of packaging projects.
• Provide technical expertise throughout the packaging development lifecycle and ensure seamless transfer of solutions into production.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to strategic packaging initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Packaging Engineering or a related discipline.
• A Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in packaging development, packaging engineering, or packaging operations.
• Hands-on experience managing packaging projects from concept through commercialization.
• Strong understanding of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and packaging technologies.
• Experience working with cross-functional and global teams.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Exposure to consumer products, healthcare, FMCG, pharmaceutical, or related industries is preferred.
