We are seeking a skilled and innovative OutSystems Developer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying web and mobile applications using the OutSystems low-code platform. This role requires a strong understanding of application lifecycle management, UI/UX principles, and integration with enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Application Development
Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performing applications using the OutSystems platform.
Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
Implement custom business logic, workflows, and data models in OutSystems.
Develop responsive UI for web and mobile applications.
Integration and Deployment
Integrate OutSystems applications with third-party systems using REST, SOAP, or direct database connections.
Configure APIs, external services, and authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, SAML, etc.).
Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes in multi-environment setups.
Testing and Quality Assurance
Perform unit, integration, and system testing to ensure application quality and performance.
Collaborate with QA engineers to support test case development and bug resolution.
Documentation and Support
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for applications and configurations.
Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for existing OutSystems applications.
Participate in code reviews, design sessions, and sprint ceremonies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
34 years of experience developing applications on the OutSystems platform.
Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL).
Experience in application lifecycle management and agile development methodologies.
Familiarity with OutSystems Service Studio, Integration Studio, Lifetime, and OutSystems Forge components.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
OutSystems certification (Associate or Professional Developer).
Experience with mobile development using OutSystems.
Familiarity with DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
Background in enterprise application integration or digital transformation initiatives.
