Job Description

The person will be responsible for driving high-volume, OTC trading transactions for institutional and high-net-worth clients. This role involves developing and maintaining relationships with key clients, managing the end-to-end sales cycle for large crypto trades, and ensuring the achievement of challenging sales targets. The successful candidate must possess a robust background in OTC sales, a deep understanding of the cryptocurrency market, and a proven track record of securing significant trading volume.

Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition & Management

- Identify, target, and acquire new institutional and high-net-worth clients for OTC trading services, focusing on large-volume transactions.

- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure high client satisfaction and repeat business.

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert consultation on market conditions, trade execution, and available crypto assets.

Sales Strategy & Execution

- Develop and execute a comprehensive OTC sales strategy to meet and exceed ambitious trading volume and revenue targets.

- Negotiate and structure complex OTC deals, ensuring competitive pricing and efficient execution.

- Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to identify new sales opportunities and service enhancements.

Trade Facilitation

- Coordinate seamlessly with the trading, compliance, and operations teams to ensure smooth, secure, and compliant execution of high-value OTC trades.

- Manage the sales pipeline from initial lead generation to trade settlement, providing accurate forecasts and regular updates to leadership.

Regulatory & Compliance

- Ensure all sales activities comply with internal policies and relevant financial regulations within the cryptocurrency and FinTech sectors.

- Work closely with the Compliance team on client onboarding (KYC/AML) for OTC accounts.

Reporting & Analysis

- Track and analyze personal sales performance, providing detailed weekly and monthly reports on key metrics, client activity, and market insights.

- Maintain a robust CRM system to document all sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status.

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.

Experience

- Minimum of 3-6 years of professional sales experience, with a significant focus on (OTC) sales, institutional sales, or capital markets.

- Proven achievement track record in driving significant sales volume and revenue, specifically within the cryptocurrency or high-value financial trading markets.

- Deep expertise and hands-on experience in the cryptocurrency market, including knowledge of market structure, liquidity providers, major digital assets (BTC, ETH, etc.), and execution mechanisms.

Technical Skills

- Strong understanding of financial market infrastructure, trading platforms, and risk management principles.

- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and data analysis tools.

- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks pertinent to digital asset trading is a plus.

Analytical Skills

- Excellent quantitative and analytical abilities, capable of assessing market risk, pricing trades, and making rapid, informed decisions under pressure.

- Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to close high-value deals.

Communication

- Exceptional presentation, written, and verbal communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English, capable of engaging confidently with C-level executives and institutional investors.

- Proven ability to build trust and rapport quickly with high-net-worth clients.

Adaptability

- Highly motivated, self-starter who can work independently and thrives in a target-driven, fast-paced trading environment.

- Flexibility to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.

Working Conditions:

May require occasional extended hours during peak trading times or high market volatility.
