Role Overview:
As an Operations Specialist at Pluang, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial and operational processes. You will be responsible for performing reconciliations, monitoring transaction flows, and handling exception management to support seamless day-to-day operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across teams to resolve issues effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily account reconciliations across multiple systems, platforms, and counterparties.
- Match transactions, payments, and account balances between internal and external databases.
- Identify, analyze, and investigate discrepancies in financial and operational data.
- Resolve reconciliation breaks through thorough research and coordination with relevant teams (Finance, Product, Tech, and Compliance).
- Maintain accurate reconciliation logs, exception reports, and audit trails for internal control purposes.
- Ensure all daily reconciliation tasks are completed within agreed timeframes.
- Process and validate manual transactions that cannot be automated.
- Monitor transaction queues, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Verify transaction details against source documents and system records.
- Handle exceptions promptly and escalate complex or high-risk issues to supervisors.
- Track transaction status and provide timely updates to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support process improvements and automation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 24 years of experience in operations, reconciliation, treasury, or settlement (preferably in fintech, banking, or financial services).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and database tools; experience with ERP, reconciliation, or financial systems is a plus.
- Ability to work with large data sets, identify patterns, and reconcile discrepancies efficiently.
- Knowledge of financial instruments, payment systems, or capital market operations is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple teams.
- Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with data protection, compliance, and audit practices is an advantage.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and spoken.
