This role will be part of the core founding team shaping the operational foundation of Captain Fauna.
Role Overview
This is a hands-on, high-ownership solo role responsible for end-to-end operations, ERP governance (Odoo), multi-warehouse inventory (including consignment), logistics coordination, supply chain management, and accounting & financial reporting. You will become the single source of operational truth inside the company.
This role exists to:
- Ensure stock accuracy and movement discipline
- Maintain ERP and omnichannel system integrity
- Control inventory velocity and cash flow
- Manage multi-warehouse & consignment operations
- Oversee logistics & supply chain coordination
- Produce accurate financial statements (P&L & Balance Sheet)
- Protect margin, scalability, and operational discipline
Key Responsibilities
ERP & System Governance (Odoo)
- Manage and maintain ERP accuracy across all transactions
- Ensure all stock movement is recorded properly
- Maintain SKU master data, cost structure, and stock valuation
- Ensure system reflects real-time operational condition
- Prevent operational leakage through disciplined data control
Multi-Warehouse & Consignment Control
Manage stock across:
- Main warehouse
- Branch / pickup locations
- Consignment partners
- Monitor stock transfers and reconciliation
- Ensure accurate consignment reporting
- Conduct periodic stock audits
- Maintain stock aging & slow-moving analysis
Logistics & Supply Chain Management
- Coordinate inbound stock from suppliers
- Monitor purchase planning & replenishment
- Oversee outbound shipping and order fulfillment
- Ensure order-to-shipping flow is seamless
- Monitor logistics cost efficiency
- Coordinate with suppliers to support operational continuity
Inventory Dashboard & Performance Control
Own inventory dashboard:
- DOH (Days on Hand)
- Inventory turnover
- Stock aging
- Slow-moving & dead stock tracking
- Identify excess stock & cash trapped in inventory
- Recommend stock optimization actions
Omnichannel & Sales Operations Integrity
- Ensure stock sync across marketplace, website & ERP
- Validate sales order accuracy
- Ensure proper revenue and COGS recognition
- Maintain clean, reconciled sales data
Financial Recording & Reporting
- Record and reconcile daily operational transactions
- Maintain accurate cost tracking
- Prepare:
- Monthly Profit & Loss
- Balance Sheet
- Inventory valuation report
- Support cash flow visibility and financial clarity
What We're Looking For
- Strong ERP experience (Odoo preferred)
- Strong inventory reconciliation & stock control experience
- Understanding of accounting fundamentals & financial reporting
- Experience handling multi-warehouse & consignment structure
- Familiar with logistics & supply chain coordination
