About the Role
Responsible for planning, coordinating, integrating, and controlling all design activities across E-House projects to ensure:
- Design deliverables are technically compliant, on schedule, and aligned with fabrication and procurement milestones
- Engineering resources are allocated with project schedules and budgets in mind
- Interfaces between engineering disciplines, vendors, and construction are managed
- Design risk, reworks, and fabrication disruptions are minimized
Responsibility:
Design Leadership & Coordination
- Act as the single point of control for all design activities across multiple projects
- Develop and maintain the Project Design Execution Plan (DEP)
- Define scope boundaries and interface responsibilities between disciplines
Resource Planning & Control
- Own the design resource plan across all active projects
- Identify bottlenecks early and propose mitigation plans
Schedule & Deliverables Management
- Build and manage the Design Schedule
- Track progress against IFA / IFC milestones
- Enforce internal design deadlines
Quality and Compliance
- Ensure designs comply with: Relevant Project Standards and Client specification
- Reviewing outputs for technical accuracy, consistency and industry regulations
- Enforce document control, review cycles and approval gates
- Coordinate internal and external design reviews
Interface Management
- Manage interfaces between: Electrical, HVAC, Fire, Structural, Architectural & Security, fabrication, construction, commissioning teams, and Vendors (HVAC systems, fire systems & security systems)
- Identify and resolve clashes and scope overlaps before fabrication release
Requirement:
- 5+ years in a technical design role, with at least 2 years in leadership or management.
- Proven experience coordinating multi-disciplinary design teams
- Strong understanding of fabrication-driven design & SID (Safety in Design)
- Ability to read and challenge designs across disciplines
- Advanced scheduling and coordination capability
- Ability to manage stakeholder technical clarification meetings
