The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and intermittently improving our current network configuration and infrastructure. You will design our revamped network infrastructure with the goal of maximizing our network performance. You will also provide troubleshooting and configuration support by using your strong technical skills in Linux and Windows environments and IP networking.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement network infrastructure based on organizational requirements.
- Maintain network hardware and software for seamless connectivity.
- Ensure network reliability and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to develop and implement network security measures.
- Conduct regular network maintenance and updates.
- Document network configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Provide network engineering support and training to other team members.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English, capable of drafting formal reports, MoM's, technical specifications, and presenting to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 - 8 years experience in the related field.
- Expert knowledge of Fiber Optic Network infrastructure (e.g., FTTx, GPON) including planning, deployment, and operational maintenance
- Good understanding of broader telecom operations, including BSS/OSS systems, network performance monitoring, and service assurance.
- Successful track record of leading or significantly contributing to at least 2 successful digital transformation projects for telecom operators and ability to manage client expectations proactively and constructively
- Willing to be placed in a banking or financial company.
