About Motion Pilates

Motion Pilates is a fast-growing health and wellness brand focused on helping people live healthier lives through high-quality Pilates experiences. As we continue to expand our studio network, we are seeking a strategic and results-driven National Sales Director to lead our national sales growth and drive membership acquisition across multiple locations.

Role Overview

The Sales Director will be responsible for leading the overall sales strategy, driving membership growth, and ensuring strong commercial performance across all studios. This role will oversee sales teams, develop scalable acquisition strategies, and support Motion Pilates aggressive expansion plans.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in fast-expansion retail, hospitality, fitness, or lifestyle businesses, with proven success managing multi-location sales teams and P&L performance.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute national sales strategies to achieve membership and revenue targets.
  • Lead and manage sales teams across multiple studios to ensure consistent performance and growth.
  • Drive membership acquisition, conversion rate, and revenue performance across all locations.
  • Establish clear sales targets, KPIs, and incentive structures to maximize team productivity.

Expansion & Market Development

  • Support the company's rapid expansion strategy by building scalable sales frameworks for new studio openings.
  • Lead pre-sale campaigns, launch strategies, and membership acquisition plans for new locations.
  • Identify new market opportunities to increase brand reach and customer acquisition.

Sales Operations & Performance Management

  • Monitor sales performance, pipeline management, and conversion metrics across studios.
  • Develop training programs and coaching for sales teams to improve performance and customer engagement.
  • Implement systems and processes to ensure efficient sales operations and reporting.

Customer Experience & Brand Growth

  • Ensure a premium customer journey and membership experience that aligns with the brand's positioning.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to align campaigns, promotions, and brand messaging that drive acquisition and retention.

Commercial Strategy & P&L Ownership

  • Manage sales performance with clear accountability to revenue targets and profitability.
  • Provide strategic insights and forecasts to leadership to support business growth and expansion planning.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 812 years of experience in sales leadership, preferably within retail, hospitality, fitness, or lifestyle industries.
  • Proven track record in scaling sales teams and driving revenue growth across multiple locations.
  • Experience supporting fast business expansion and new market launches.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage high-performing teams.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
