The MT Retail Operation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily field operations and ensuring effective execution in modern trade stores. This role focuses on supervising field teams, monitoring outlet performance, and maintaining high standards of in store execution. The supervisor supports campaign implementation, ensures compliance with operational guidelines, and provides on ground insights to improve team productivity and sales performance.
Position: MT Retail Operation Supervisor
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of field teams (Team Leaders, BA/SPG/SPB/MD) in Modern Trade (MT) stores.
- Ensure in store execution aligns with brand guidelines, promotional plans, and sales targets.
- Monitor store level performance, including sales, stock availability, visibility, and team productivity.
- Support the implementation of promotional campaigns and ensure timely, accurate execution in stores.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Merchandising) for operational alignment and issue resolution.
- Maintain strong working relationships with store PICs and MT partners at the operational level.
- Track and report field activities, sales performance, and operational issues on a regular basis.
- Assist in analyzing performance data and provide actionable insights for improvement.
- Ensure field teams follow SOPs, grooming standards, and service excellence guidelines.
- Conduct regular store visits and field coaching to improve team performance and execution quality.
- Support in KPI monitoring and incentive tracking for field staff.
- Handle day-to-day operational challenges and escalate issues when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 2 – 3 years of experience in Modern Trade Operations, Retail, or Field Force supervision.
- Experience supervising field teams (BA/SPG/SPB/MD), preferably in FMCG, skincare, or cosmetics industries.
- Strong coordination and execution skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Basic analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and operational data.
- Fluent in English (basic to intermediate level).
- Willing to work on-site in Mega Kuningan, South Jakarta.
