Main Responsibilities
As a Mining Geology Supervisor, you will be involved in mining geology activities, carrying out the geological preparation and production program defined while respecting quality, safety, deadlines, and budget requirements. Your main responsibilities include:
- Conducting geological surveys and sampling plans
- Participating in the development and implementation of production schedules
- Contributing to the development of geological preparation programs (shafts, chimneys, galleries, etc.)
- Updating and analyzing the database and ensuring its reliability (AutoCAD, GIS, etc.)
- Compiling, synthesizing data, and proposing work programs in your study area
- Coordinating and monitoring mining operations
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in geology/geosciences with a significant experience of at least 3 years in a similar position, focused on gold mining production.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in geological modeling and mapping software
- Ability to design and implement drilling programs for sample collection
- Aptitude to work effectively in varied field conditions
- Strong analytical skills to interpret geological data accurately
- Results-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines
- Commitment to responsible and sustainable practices
