We are looking for an experienced and motivated Middle Cloud Engineer to join our growing team. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable cloud infrastructure across our environments. This is an exciting opportunity to lead cloud initiatives, modernize systems, and work on cutting-edge cloud-native technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS, Akamai).
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to enable reliable and secure systems.
- Optimize cloud performance and drive cost optimization across cloud resources and services.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows.
- Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to teams.
- Stay current with evolving cloud technologies and propose innovative solutions.
- Ensure compliance with cloud security and governance policies.
- Respond to incidents and perform root cause analysis for production issues.
- Provide cloud architecture planning and recommend best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or cloud infrastructure roles.
- Expertise in AWS (Akamai is a plus).
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
- Experience scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
- Solid understanding of cloud networking, IAM, security best practices, and governance.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments and command-line operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect).
- Experience with serverless computing and microservices architectures.
- Background in hybrid cloud or on-premises integration.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps and compliance (SOC2, ISO 27001, etc.).
