What we need:
The MEP Engineer will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end project delivery within the data centre environment. This role ensures that all projects are executed on time, within budget, and aligned with company standards and client requirements. The position requires strong coordination, communication, and technical understanding of data centre infrastructure and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, execute, and monitor data centre projects from initiation to completion.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, operations, and
vendors, to ensure smooth project execution.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Track project milestones and deliverables, ensuring adherence to scope and quality standards.
• Identify risks and issues, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Manage project documentation, reporting, and communication with stakeholders.
• Conduct regular project reviews and provide status updates to management.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies.
The successful candidate:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in data centre,
telecommunications, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMP certification is an advantage).
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, or equivalent).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
