Job Description

We seek a motivated and dynamic Medical Laboratory Branch Manager to oversee our laboratory operations and drive business development in the local healthcare community. This role combines management responsibilities with a focus on sales and relationship-building with physicians. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory operations, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for improving patient care through diagnostic services.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

  • Oversee daily laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and quality assurance protocols.
  • Manage laboratory staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development.
  • Develop and implement efficient processes to optimize workflow and improve service delivery.

Business Development:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with local physicians and medical facilities to promote laboratory services.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to increase laboratory referrals and client base.
  • Conduct presentations and educational sessions for healthcare professionals to inform them about laboratory services and innovations.

Financial Management:

  • Monitor budget and financial performance, ensuring operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Prepare reports on laboratory performance and sales activities for senior management.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure the laboratory adheres to all health and safety regulations and maintains high-quality standards.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the central laboratory and branch team to ensure alignment on goals, protocols, and service offerings.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum education Bachelor Degree (S1) from any major.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting.
  • Proven experience in sales and business development within the healthcare sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Able to speak and write in English.
