DCI is looking for a Mechanical Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment to help ensure operational excellence in our data center facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead engineering design and provide expert guidance in mechanical systems and utility services for data center operations.
- Solve complex problems with deep analysis and structured data evaluation to meet service and reliability standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to develop, maintain, and improve facility mechanical systems.
- Conduct mechanical and electrical audits to ensure compliance and performance standards.
- Prepare and deliver technical status reports and project updates.
- Manage preventive maintenance schedules and track building system performance.
- Ensure mechanical systems such as chillers, cooling towers, PAC, fire suppression, and firefighting are operating optimally.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, including 2+ years at the supervisor level
- Bachelors degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering
- Strong background in data center operations, utility services, or pharmaceutical industry
- Hands-on experience with:
Chiller and Cooling Systems
Cooling Towers, Precision Air Conditioners (PAC), Fire Fighting and Suppression Systems
Power consumption calculations
- Proficient in preventive maintenance scheduling, reporting, and building management systems (BMS)
- Able to multitask and deliver high-quality results under pressure
- Strong reporting, documentation, and communication skills
