Job Description:
The Mechanical & Electrical Coordinator will oversee the planning, execution, and coordination of mechanical and electrical systems for various projects. The role involves working closely with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all systems are installed, maintained, and functioning efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee mechanical and electrical system installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure project specifications and timelines are met.
- Review and approve technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Monitor project progress and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues as they arise.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to achieve project goals.
- Conduct site inspections and coordinate with third-party inspectors as needed.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and reports related to mechanical and electrical systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorâs degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in mechanical and electrical coordination or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, codes, and standards.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, project management tools).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
