About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our talented team at Formulatrix Indonesia. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge special purpose machines that are crucial to our client's manufacturing operations. Based in Central Java, this is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within a dynamic and innovative company.
What you'll be doing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and develop innovative special purpose machines
- Evaluate ideas and designs for technical feasibility and cost-efficiency.
- Support the machine after it's up and running, troubleshoot and fine-tune as needed.
- Help manage project schedules, budgets, and coordinate with external vendors or suppliers.
What we are looking for
- Previous industry experience on mechanical/mechatronics is appreciated, fresh grads are welcome.
- Has experience in mechanism design (motion analysis, kinematic concepts, machine elements)
- Has experience in manufacturing a mechanical instruments/robotic.
- Skilled in debugging issues in mechatronic systems.
- Accurate, attention to detail, tactful, and a fast learner are a must.
- Have superb creativity, logic, vision, and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to work in Salatiga.
Nice to have
- Has experience in building special purpose machines / fully automated machines / high precision parts / heat exchange devices.
- Has experience in injection plastic processes.
- Good knowledge of plastic materials and sheet metal.
- Good communication skills in English, both oral and written.
