Marketing Intern / Social Media Coordinator

About Us
We're a Jakarta-based hyper-casual game studio building fun, culturally resonant mobile games for Indonesian millennials and Gen Z. Our current focus is Komoverse and the broader Alfa Games portfolio, with strong ties to local partners like Alfamart. We're looking for a hungry, creative Marketing Intern / Social Media Coordinator who can help us grow our community and presence across platforms.
What You'll Do
- Own day-to-day content planning, creation, and posting for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and X (@alfagamesofficial and related accounts)
- Create engaging short-form content (Reels, TikToks, Stories, carousels) that highlights our games, Indonesian culture, behind-the-scenes, player highlights, and campaign moments
- Help manage community engagement — reply to comments, DMs, and build genuine interactions with players
- Support content calendars, campaign rollouts, and performance tracking (reach, engagement, follower growth, traffic to store)
- Collaborate with the product, design, and marketing team on creative ideas, player feedback loops, and simple UA/organic growth experiments
- Assist with basic reporting and competitor/social listening in the Indonesian gaming space
- Occasional support on other marketing tasks (influencer outreach coordination, simple asset requests, event/content documentation)
Who We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Advertising, or related field
- Strong personal presence or proven interest in social media content creation (show us your own accounts or previous work)
- Comfortable creating content in Bahasa Indonesia (primary) and English
- Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, and basic editing tools (CapCut, Canva, or similar)
- Creative, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-moving small team environment
- Genuine interest in mobile games, Indonesian youth culture, or digital entertainment is a big plus
- Available for hybrid work in Jakarta (occasional office days expected)
Nice to Have
- Previous internship or freelance experience managing social accounts
- Basic understanding of analytics (Instagram Insights, TikTok Analytics, or Google Analytics)
- Experience with gaming, esports, or lifestyle content
- Knowledge of current Indonesian social media trends and meme culture
