We are currently supporting our client in the interior design company in their search for a driven and strategic Marketing Communications Manager to lead and elevate their marketing function in Indonesia.
This role will be responsible for shaping and executing the end-to-end marketing strategy, ensuring strong brand positioning, demand generation, and sustainable business growth aligned with local and regional objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the end-to-end marketing strategy and operating model for Indonesia.
- Create and manage the annual marketing plan and budget, aligned with local business priorities.
- Govern brand positioning, messaging, and content consistency across all channels.
- Translate HQ brand and marketing guidelines into locally relevant, high-impact execution.
- Establish and enforce a content governance system that ensures alignment with HQ while enabling local adaptability.
- Act as the key local decision gate for marketing initiatives before escalation to HQ on centralized branding matters.
- Lead campaign design, prioritization, and channel mix strategy.
- Drive community, event, and market engagement initiatives.
- Partner closely with Sales, Showroom, and Operations teams to ensure marketing strategies enable healthy and sustainable revenue generation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Management, or related field. Postgraduate degree or professional certification is a plus.
- 6+ years of Marketing & Communications experience with proven business results.
- Strong experience managing integrated, multi-channel campaigns (digital, offline, events, community).
- Comfortable working in a matrix organisation with regional or global stakeholders.
- Proven ability to build and manage annual plans, budgets, KPIs, and reporting.
- Experience leading specialist teams (digital, content, community), not just generalist marketing.
- Strong commercial mindset with clear focus on cost control and ROI.
- Background in premium, design-led, or B2B industries (architecture, materials, interiors, building products, lifestyle brands) is an advantage.
- Able to translate HQ brand guidelines into effective local execution.
- Confident acting as the local marketing decision-maker within central brand governance.
- Fluent in English
- Willing to work in Alam Sutra (WFO)
